My friend Noah, a percussionist and educator, posts on Instagram an image of a written note.
It reads:
“precision
sensitivity
musicality
The sound you make represents you.”
I think:
precision – choice
sensitivity – awareness
musicality – rhythm, a priori
The you I make represents me.
