poems in 2:30-5 minutes

The Other Organization workshop at Feverhead.
Gray and Su lead us with writing prompts.
We adhere to increments of 2:30-5 minutes and try each one.
Two of mine:

use the last line as the first line and write a poem about ‘baptism’

Spread love from the dead
they are never non-time.

Dripping down baby’s head
or grown now, river’s bed.

The Earth –
chill of water from mother, son same.

I’ll give you a name
and drip God on your eyes.

a note to your neighbor about what all that sound was last night

was just me knocking round
shaking house
grounding out.

was my laughter
knocking gaps in the sound.

was me clumsy in kitchen,
short temper, quick song.

dancing thoughts
through skylights.
legs high
stroke, choke-long.
